Day 16

I’m proud of myself. I very nearly allowed my cramp side effects to be my “excuse” for not doing my workout. But I pushed through that mental block and did the entire workout plus 5 minutes yoga at the end for a cool down.

I definitely feel so much better for that!

Everything else went really well today too and I bought myself Code Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ for my Switch.

Now to snuggle up with my book again!

Day 15

I had a presentation to do today and I was so nervous I barely settled all morning. As a result my water intake was nowhere near where it should be.

That’s probably not great considering I’m still suffering the after effects of my cramp but it did mean I easily met my step count!

All in all a mixed bag today… I’m just going to go read my book for a bit (The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson) before sleep.

Day 14

I increased my steps to 3,000 today and hit it.

I had really bad cramp in my calf last night right below the knee and it made moving around today so painful. I really don’t know what caused it.

I’m not a stranger to cramp, I got a lot growing up and I think it has been realted to dehydration in the past but I know that wasn’t the cause this time.

Ah well, my step goal was still met, regardless!

Day 13

Once again, I managed to hit my food and water goal. I ended up working late at work so I didnt have quite as much evening time as I usually would.

I didnt let myself use that as an excuse to not have enough steps so I spent a good 20 minutes walking on the spot to get my step count up to 2,500.

I met my 2,500 goal 5 out of 7 days last week so I’m going to up my steps to 3,000 tomorrow.

Getting closer to that 15,000 goal!

Day 12

I’ve really enjoyed today.

I managed to do lots of different things, including my workout for today. It was a tough workout but I already feel stronger than I did when I started.

I’m so proud of myself for continuing. Today was the first day when I could have made an excuse and not worked out, but I’d didnt. I fought that feeling and did my workout.

Day 11

I hit my water target in the end, yesterday. After writing my post I spent the next hour and a half drinking my water and reading my book.

I still suffered the after effects of dehydrating today, though. It really taught me how valuable hitting my water target is.

All in all today wasn’t too bad. I hit my step goal, and went beyond it too. I’m feeling ready to up it to 3,000 but I also think it’s going to be much tougher than the 2,000 to 2,500 increase. I still don’t know how I’m going to manage 15,000 in a day. But one step at a time.

Day 10

Well, I didn’t come close to hitting my targets today.

I went over on my food, but that’s okay because I was under yesterday. I only got half way with my water and I didnt even get half way to my step goal… I did manage to hit my protein goal though with the help of some steak!

It was a weird day that started with working at 7:30 to prep for an 8:00 call. Then, before I knew it, it was lunch time. Then the end of the work day!

I did get to sort a lot of time playing Final Fantasy X and The Sims 4 so I enjoyed myself. Now to read The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson for a bit before bed!

Day 9

It all went a little better today. I did my step goal, my weight work out, and met the water goal too.

I still didn’t do very well with protein or fibre and some days I struggle to meet my food target.

Bit my bit I feel as though I’m getting there. Each strength workout is feeling better than the last and my weight is dropping even if that isnt my main motivation.

Day 8

I thought yesterday was a bad day…

Today was a total write off as far as anything work was concerned. Nothing wanted to work and I got frustrated to the point of tears multiple times.

I spent some time stepping while watching Mr Monk after work and I do feel a bit better now I’ve reached my step goal. I managed to accomplish something at least!!

Day 7

Today has been a really tough day for reasons that I can’t quite identify.

I feel absolutely exhausted and as a result I’m skipping out my yoga that I’m supposed to be doing today to just rest up.

I am going to be increasing my daily step goal to 2,500 to begin working my way to the recommended 15,000 steps.
